Hello everybody! Hope you are well! I’m glad to announce you that… I’m back with a new post! (Yaaaayyy!)
I wanted to talk about something more personal than my previous posts, about a topic very important to me and that I’ve been hiding for too long, too afraid to speak up about it and face judgement about the way I faced that. But today, I decided to raise my chin up and fight one of my demons.
Everybody had (or still has!) a toxic friend. It could be a woman, a man, it could be older or younger than you. Sometimes it’s a coworker, sometimes even your employer, or your neighbour, your classmate, your brother-in-law.
They exist, they make everything different, sometimes they drive you mad and pull out the worst of you. They make you different, and your friends – your real friends – can see it. But why do people often treat the topic like a taboo, hiding the truth?

Hey guys! Sorry for the brief hiatus, but I have to say I’ve been quite busy (and lazy) lately.
So first of all, yes! I moved back to London, finally! And it feels so good. I really missed this place. So, after settling down (and spending all my savings in furnitures for my new place, damn) and getting used to my new job, I finally found some time to go back to explore the city and its wonders. And of course… I needed to write a blog post about it!
So, few days ago I took a train on the Piccadilly line and got off at Hammersmith, Zone 2. Nice place, but the bus stop I needed was closed. Bummer.
Me and my friend (whom I forced to join me the night before) had a nice, long walk. Crossed the Thames river on a bridge, and we got to the bus stop.
We took the bus number 209 towards Mortlake Bus Station, got off at the last stop, and walked to St Mary Magdalene’s church yard. Why? To visit Sir Richard Burton’s mausoleum.

As a huge “The Walking Dead” fanatic I always felt ashamed when someone mentioned the famous Telltale’s title, because for many reasons I always told myself “Yeah, I will play it someday”, and then never did it. Procrastinating has been a huge part of my life back in the days – I know, I know, I’m not very proud of it – and so, the game has been waiting for me followed by a long list of books, abandoned tv shows and movies.
I discovered the “The Walking Dead” universe quite late – in 2013 more precisely – because somehow the AMC show never appealed me that much. And the funny thing is that, when I decided to give it a chance, one of my friends replied: “I have the whole Season 1 on bluray. I can lend it to you, so you don’t have to spend anything. And, if you like it you can keep it. That tv series is so terrible I don’t mind giving away my copy for free.” . Not exactly what you’d define “encouraging”, right? But I took the challenge, and instantly fell in love with it. I could talk about its flaws and its precious moments for hours, but this isn’t the point. In case you never had the chance to watch the show and you’re waiting for a good reason, I could give you many but the most striking one is a character named Glenn Rhee. Skip the rest of this post if you don’t want to get any spoiler!

You probably didn’t know this, but I’m a major cinephile! I love sitting in a cinema holding a big warm basket of popcorns, surrounded by the smell of sugar and melted butter, drinking iced tea while immersing myself in a new adventure on the big screen.
I go to the cinema a lot, and I also spend a lot of time on Netflix with my friends and probably spend too much of my money in blue ray discs (and dvds back in the days)…
But anyway! I thought about this post quite a lot.
What is the point in having a blog, if I don’t post about my passions? So I decided to write a TOP 10 list of my favorite movies of all time.
As soon as I started writing down the first draft, I realized it wouldn’t be possible for me to choose only ten films without leaving out of the list too many pearls. So here we go with the first slot of movies that I love: I’ll start with the ONE MAN ARMY category.
-WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY “ONE MAN ARMY”? It’s as simple as it sounds. All the films listed below feature a main male character, usually with a dramatic background, single by choice or widowers. Some of them are ex soldiers, spies, secret agents or serve/served in the special forces; they’re usually cold, overpowered and somehow terribly attractive. Some of them may end up in brief romances or sexual encounters with dangerous women or damsels in distress, but most of the times they refuse all these gorgeous ladies, faithful to an impossible relationship or a dead/kidnapped wife or girlfriend. They can face multiple enemies at the same time with only one gun, and have insane melee combat skills.
If you’re in the mood for great action sequences and don’t know what to watch, grab a soda and some treates babe! Here’s my TOP 10 “ONE MAN ARMY” MOVIES.

– aka that time I travelled to the UK and decided to stay.
All my friends ask me how I did it. I’ve always been that kind of girl that does crazy things, but something like moving to another country? Not at all. I travelled a lot, that’s true, but always in safety and comfort without taking a risk. So, probably people that knew me started to think: “how the hell did a girl like her do something like that?”
Many others are just tired of their routines and want a big change to shock their lives and see what they are capable of.
So… I decided to share my experience in the shape of a “to do list” for anyone that would like to make the same experience, step by step.
